Poverty-Environment discussion

On behalf of the UNDP list participants, I would like to pose a few
questions to the group.

Section 7 of the IDS paper provides an interesting overview of emerging
issues, key policy questions, and practical considerations for
policy-makers and development practitioners working in the
poverty-environment area.  

As you know, we hope that this electronic discussion will result in the
identification of a narrower set of high-priority topics within the
larger poverty-environment debate for our technical workshop and meeting
of Ministers.  

With that in mind --

-Based on your experience, which (if any) of the areas identified in
section 7 strikes you as most critical?  

-From the standpoint of policy-making and programme implementation, are
any important issues missing from the list?  

-If you had to highlight three issues/questions/new approaches to bring
to the attention of Ministers whose work affects the poverty-environment
nexus at the grassroots level, what would they be?
