Participants
The main
aim of the sub-practice event is to substantiate the draft Practice Note on
e-Governance and identify regional and global priorities for the e-Governance
service line. As the practice note entails the identification of best practices
and UNDP’s niche, participants included are UNDP field practitioners working on
e-Governance projects in country offices globally. Participants also include
UNDP resident representatives, practitioners from UNDP regional programmes, UN agencies
and academic experts. Organizations also present are the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa (OSISA),
NEPAD, Southern
Africa Capacity Initiative, and the International
Development Research Centre. Partners include the Internet
Business solutions Group (Cisco).
