SDNP Mozambique: Virtual Library Launching
On 15/02/99, SDNP Mozambique launched MICOA's (Ministry of Environmental) Virtual Library - www.sdnp.org.mz, on a ceremony chaired by MICOA's Minister, Dr Bernardo Ferraz. This is the first virtual library in Mozambique.At the same time a CD with Maputo Municipal Laws (Posturas Municipais em Vigor na Cidade de Maputo) was launched.
Mr Ferraz made a speech pointing out, as an environmentalist, the advantages of electronic dissemination of news, and invited other Documentation Centers to follow this initiative.
The ceremony was filmed by our national TV, and presented in the evening
